iPhone 4 camera: 5 megapixel with Flash, 720 p HD video including video editing and video telephony

Finally has come. The iPhone 4 was presented with the effort of Apple. The Smartphone is still flatter than its predecessor and has an extremely high resolution display. In addition, it runs with a fast A4 processor. What bit goes down with all the technical refinements is the almost full-featured camera of the iPhone 4. We introduce in detail the individual peculiarities of the new iPhones in our blog by bridgat. Info about the camera of the iPhone 4 can be found in this article – or the two cameras, providing the Smartphone. The offers also video calls from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 iPhone 4

Not a megapixel monster, but …

at least the iPhone 4 offers a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus. Although one is used to from other smartphones already a higher number of mega pixels, however, this does not necessarily mean that therefore better photos emerge. The problem of most cameras is the noise and not the low resolution. This is because that the sensor chip for mobile phone cameras are smaller and the pixel count is greater. This has resulted in that less light falls on the chip. So is the noise in low light conditions. The basic principle is: the higher the resolution the stronger is same sensor chip size noise. Just don’t want Apple and goes on about this problem with the backlight illuminated developed by Sony sensor. By using this technique, each pixel gets more light. Resulting in a lower noise and higher light sensitivity of the camera – so better photos in low light conditions. Also the 5 mega pixel for photo prints in large sizes are sufficient.

Videos in HD quality and touch focus

High resolution videos can use the iPhone 4 to record. This is done in HD quality (720 p). This is to be found only in a few smartphones. Also special is the touch focus of the camera. Hereby E.g. the section can be limited on the screen, which should appear sharper. Of course, the camera has also a built-in LED flash.

Video editing with iMovie directly on the iPhone

Especially interesting for lovers of videos: with the iPhone 4 can you together tinker his own video clips. IMovie can edit videos right on the iPhone. Video material can be import from almost any camcorder and can then be edited using drag -and-drop. Titles, transitions and effects can be selected. If the “ masterpiece ” is finished then you can it easily to friends be passed or even online premiere.

Video telephony – from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4

so far, video telephony is not too popular and that is why it is possible also with hardly a Smartphone. Apple is trying the interest for the “ to call some other kind of ” to wake up and provides the necessary hardware for the feature in the iPhone 4. These include a front-facing camera and fast Internet access via WLAN or HSDPA. Unfortunately, video telephony work only from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4

Availability and price

iPhone 4 screen: capacitive touchscreen, retina, ALU silicate glass – sensitive, scratch-resistant and sharper than ever!

IPhone 4 has in the last few days for Vortex and we have also been extensively reported. Reason enough for us, the iPhone 4 once into its component parts to disassemble. Today is the display’s turn, which although has no OLED (or AMOLED), but something entirely new: retina is the magic word. This new display technology is between two layers of aluminum silicate glass, what special scratch resistance to the new iPhone 4. Also, we will lose a few words to the capacitive touchscreen of Apple smartphones.

Retina display with 326 DPI: sharper than the eye can perceive

As first right at the heart of the new iPhone 4: retina display. It has a resolution with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels on a 3.5 ″ diagonal of a pixel density of 326 DPI corresponds to – compared to the previous models, after all, is a 4 x pixel density. A comparison can illustrate well the sharpness: the iPhone 4 has about one-third of the diagonal 78% of the pixels of the iPad. Because the human eye can only approximately 300 DPI warhnehmen, there to see no pixels, even if it is very close to the device used. As a tribute, that this resolution quasi “ perfect ” for the eye, Apple has this display “ retina ” (so: “ retina ”) baptized. Behind a traditional LCD, which is also much stronger in contrast, as iPhone 3 G and 3 G S. With a contrast ratio of 800:1 has the iPhone 4 but a superb contrast what the IPS (“ in-plane-switching ”) attributable to is technology, which has come at the Apple iPad to use. This viewing angle dependency and brightness of the display will improve also still clearly a better arrangement of the crystals in the screen. In General, they are unfavourably positioned within the LCD so that their luminosity is not perfect. Also changed the manufacturing process of the screen: so far the glass surface of the flat with a small air-bridge was built. It now falls away: here to save space, reducing glare and improves the readability of the screen.

Why not OLED or AMOLED?

Samsung’s long pioneering in the field of OLED screens (Samsung, this means “ AMOLED ”). The technique with the self-luminous, organic diodes has many advantages, ranging from the low mode about better contrast and significantly brighter. With the Super-AMOLED, the technology has been refined even further by the layers within the mobile phones have been reduced, thus once again achieved an increase in luminosity, brightness and power consumption. Currently, Super-AMOLED screens are generally significantly better than TFTs and LCDs. only the readability in direct radiation of sunlight makes problems, but again, this has been improved in the new generation. Why is Apple so at the actually obsolete LCD? know we don’t, but with the name as “ retina ” display Apple sells the old technology as something new. Technically new, however, only the IPS technology to improve the brightness and contrast in LCD is screens. A such high pixel density, however, is not a wonder plant from Apple: already, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X 1 over 300 DPI thanks to a great resolution of 800 x 480 pixels on a diagonal of 3 ″. So by no means is revolutionary Apple iPhone 4 display: it combines proven technology with a good resolution. Whether it’s better than Super-AMOLED screens appears more than doubtful. The retina display is rather a newly named LCD – marketing like in the picture book!

Sfiato silicate glass: unbreakable

Which are made of aluminosilicate glass front and back of the Apple iPhone 4. This glass was used so far above all in the field of express trains and helicopters, so exactly where the stress for the material are enormous. Up to 30 times harder than plastic, the material should be and very scratch-resistant. It was often so that the devices, when they fell to the floor, jumped in the previous models, iPhone 3 G and iPhone 3 G S. Episode: A broken iPhone. This can no longer happen unique material composition thanks to the.

iPhone 4 touch screen: capacitive touch screen

The iPhone display has always listened to the sensitive and reactive on the market, which has already the first iPhone in June 2007 and continued through the generations. Because nothing has changed with the iPhone 4 when compared to the predecessors of iPhone 3 G and 3 G S, and that’s a good thing! IPhone 4 will react accordingly once again very fast and sensitive touchscreen for the Apple. Also the multi touch is maintained naturally back functionality. To the accuracy of the iPhone touch screen you can read more in our article.

Conclusion with regard to the new iPhone 4 display

My opinion just the high resolution of the new iPhones is overrated extremely. What brings me if I need a special projector to enlarge to see any differences? Sure printed text in this fine resolution look very plastic as a result, but that is by no means revolutionary. I had a choice, I would prefer a super AMOLED with slightly smaller resolution (preferably 800 x 480 pixels), because the color intensity and luminosity can provide no LCD. Whether the IPS can change something technology here? I don’t believe in any case, because so far the start of Super AMOLEDs is simply too large. With the high-quality glass, new manufacturing technology, IPS and finally the display is already mature Apple touchscreen technology a successful (but not revolutionary) total package on the iPhone but sure 4 that will delight many. Perhaps also because the display is not schnöde “ TFT ” or “ LCD ” means, but retina ….

Samsung brings to the middle of the year some genuine iPhone 4 G or iPhone HD Konkurrenten.Nicht only the Bada Smartphone S8500 wave is a real highlight in the range of the technology giant, but also the Samsung I9000 Galaxy s This Smartphone, the largest Super AMOLED display will be ever built with rich 4 ″ in the diagonal. Samsung is a pioneer in the area of displays and increasingly marketed the AMOLED technology. So, it was also clear that Samsung would continue as the first manufacturer. Super AMOLED is consistently pursuing the technology and improved again luminance, contrast and readability at Sonneneintrahlung. As the core of the new technology, the regular AMOLED technology comes to the bear. In the process, Samsung but reduced the layers within the display, so that the brightness is maintained and at the same time more vivid colors are possible at the same time lower energy consumption and has sunk space requirement for the display panels. Not joing the display sets standards for the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S, but also the remaining hardware of the new Smansung Super smartphones. The gigahertz processor is now already the common standard for high-priced smartphones, but the Galaxy S is a component particularly has taken on the Samsung: the graphic line of smartphones is about three times as high as in the fast-paced game mobile iPhone 3 G S. Samsung S8500 wave: The price is hot!

High-end smartphones with current hardware cost approx. €500. But Samsung takes a new approach with the first Bada Smartphone Samsung S8500 wave. The good piece costs only little more than €320,-with us at the bridgat shop (without a contract). For that you get not only the latest display technology on the market, but also the fastest processor that is currently available, the fastest Wi-Fi, the fastest Bluetooth with the Samsung S8500 wave … superlatives Samsung not saving anyway. We will show you what can the Samsung S8500 wave!

High end to a mid-range price …

With the Samsung S8500 wave of the world’s two largest cell phone manufacturers throw a model on the market, that technically sets standards as at end 2009 the Samsung I8910 Omnia HD. This begins with the display: 3,3 ″ diagonal are not huge, but the display technology but cutting-edge. Super AMOLED is the technique, here installed the Samsung. They consistently technology AMOLED (or OLED), by technical changes luminance, contrast and readability in sunlight have been improved with lower power consumption. Furthermore, Super-AMOLED displays are flat, so that the mobile phone models can benefit all of. In addition to the display, which by the way, outstanding dissolves with 800 × 480 pixels, there are also the Wi-Fi standard N (theoretically up to 300 Mbps), Bluetooth 3.0 and a 1 GHz processor. In addition to these strong hardware requirements, Samsung installed nor a 5 mega pixel camera, the videos rucklfrei in HD record can (1280 × 720 pixels). Keep in mind: the Samsung S8500 wave is only slightly more than €300 and has high end hardware in every area!

… in a chic enclosure!

Samsung is not HTC. The Samsung S8500 wave doesn’t looks like a gray mouse, but smart and high quality with much metal on the body (front and back). In addition, the complete hardware package weighs only 118 g. Also thanks to the Super AMOLED technology which requires not so much space, like the old OLED or not to mention TFT technology required, could one even in the small enclosure of the S8500 wave Samsung 1500 mAh battery use. This should deliver an above-average Smartphone experience with great maturity! 1500 mAh currently represent the maximum at mobile phone battery? So not necessarily is the Samsung S8500 wave, also in the field of processing and optics, but can quite compete with other chic models.

Operating system Bada: smart but with teething

Said: Bada is installed on the Samsung S8500 wave for the first time. So far, the operating system still in its infancy and certainly suffers from teething, but are played out in the details pane. So, for example, the range of applications is of course not nearly as large as in Apple’s Appstore or Android – probably the selection will also never been greater. Apart (we could test the phone itself) the operating system makes a really good impression. It reminds strongly of the construction on iPhone and Android and runs smoothly. The touch screen of the Samsung S8500 wave responds very precisely and quickly. Applications are opened also instantly by the fast processor. Multitouch and kinetic scrolling effect also mature. Samsung’s Bada is a fresh, operating system, can keep up even now with the big if also not revolutionary. At best you it look at yet again below in the video!

Availability and price

The price of the Samsung S8500 wave is hot, I have indicated already in the title. I would like to stress once again that: often we have may offer such a strong hardware package with such chic processing at such a price. The fast processor is not enough, he will find sure his joy camera on the HD video or on the fast Internet experience through Wi-Fi N. A-GPS for navigation via mobile phone I have not even called, also can the Samsung S8500 wave. For just once €320,-this is a strong piece – and we can offer it now at bridgat shop!
