Rochester Institute of Technology’s Gleason College of Engineering is home to some extremely successful alumni. Some noteworthy alumni include entrepreneur and philanthropist Tom Golisano, who founded Paychex Inc., and software engineer John Kemeny, who helped develop the BASIC programming language. Both have been inducted into the RIT Alumni Hall of Fame. Scholarships, grants, work-study, and loans are all available to qualified students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit or special talents and can cover up to full tuition.
