The University of Dayton School of Engineering offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. The undergraduate program is ranked in the top 100 best engineering schools by U.S. News & World Report, and the graduate program is ranked in the top 50. The school offers degrees in aerospace, mechanical, electrical and computer engineering as well as computer science, biomedical engineering, civil engineering and more. For admission requirements, prospective students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit their ACT or SAT scores. International students must also provide proof of English proficiency with either a TOEFL or IELTS score. The University of Dayton School of Engineering offers a variety of tuition and financial aid options for students. Tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year is $17,872 per semester for full-time undergraduate students. This includes all tuition and fees, as well as an estimated cost of books and supplies. The University of Dayton School of Engineering has a long-standing reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. In 2020, the School of Engineering had an impressive placement rate of 95%, with over 90% of graduates finding jobs or continuing their education within six months. The School offers numerous degree programs, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering. The placement rate for each program varies, but is consistently high. For example, the Mechanical Engineering program had a 97% placement rate in 2020. This was due to the strong focus on practical skills and industry-specific knowledge nurtured in students throughout their studies at the University of Dayton School of Engineering.
